A Home Equity Loan from Metro North Federal Credit Union is the ideal way to finance any major expense. Interest payments may be tax deductible. Our Home Equity Line-of-Credit Loan gives you convenient access to your home’s equity whenever you need it. Our Home Equity Loan is fee free. You can finance up to 80% of the appraised value or two times your state equalized value of your home, minus the balance owing on your first mortgage. 

A Metro North Federal Credit Union ATM Card gives your access to your accounts at hundreds of convenient locations throughout the state and throughout the country. It’s easy to get cash or make deposits 24 hours a day with a MNFCU ATM Card.

Our Speedy Line audio response system is the easy-to-use, modern way to conduct your financial business. Speedy Line is available 24 hours a day, any day of the week. Your account information can only be retrieved by using your own secret Personal Information Identification Number (PIN). By following the recorded instructions you will be able to conduct all of these transactions:

• Check clearings
• Share transfers within the same account number
• Loan payment transfers
• Dividend information

1. Using your touch-tone phone, call our Speedy Line at 1-800-592-6091.
2. The computer voice will answer and ask for your account number. You respond by entering your account number. You respond by entering your account number, followed by the credit union key (068) and then press the # button.
3. The computer then requires your Speedy Line Personal Identification Number. Press the ID number buttons and then #.
4. At this point, the computer asks you to make a selection from the main menu’s listing. Your options are as follows:

2 # Loan Information

3 # Share Draft (Checking) Transactions Menu

4 # Transfers, Withdraw Funds, Loan Payments, Revolving Loan Advances

5 # Certificates Inquiries Menu

6 # Change PIN Number

5. After you make a selection from the main menu, a second, more detailed menu will become available. To make a selection, press the "number response" and then # for each inquiry.
6. When your request is completed, you have the option to perform another transaction. Up to five requests may be completed with one call.
7. When entering a dollar amount, the decimal is not used. For instance, $25.00 is entered as
   2 5 0 0 #.
8. Press 6 5 # to approve a transaction or 9 9 # to cancel.
9. Remember that there is a 5-minute time limit per call.

Make purchases by using your Debit Card wherever you see MasterCard logo. No need to carry cash or wait in line writing a check. Select "CREDIT" when making your purchase and the money will automatically be deducted from your Metro North Credit Union checking account with no additional fees.

Our Checking Account also offers Overdraft Protection in the form of a Line-of-Credit Loan.

Overdraft Protection is a Checking Account service which works two ways: first, as protection against bounced checks, and second as a convenient source of credit. Overdraft Protection is an unsecured loan at a competitive rate of interest.

With Overdraft Protection, funds are forwarded to your account any time a check clears for an amount greater than the amount in your account (up to your approved credit limit). You can use the loan funds to protect against overdrafts, or to write yourself a loan whenever you need it.
